Appeals, employment law, professional liability defense and civil rights are Diana’s main litigation practice areas. A former Arizona Law Review articles editor, she is the firm’s research, motion and appellate coordinator.
Diana Kanon is an associate with SSR, which she joined after clerking for the firm while in law school. Her practice focuses mainly civil defense, with an emphasis in professional liability, employment law and civil rights. She has extensive experience drafting dispositive motions and has successfully written numerous appellate briefs. After leaving her hometown of Globe, Arizona to attend college out-of-state, Ms. Kanon returned to Arizona, where she completed her undergraduate degree and attended law school, graduating cum laude from the James E. Rogers College of Law in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Arizona, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
